Albert Maurice Moody Sr. is the founder of the Caddo Parish Teachers Federal Credit Union where he retired after forty years as CEO/Treasurer. Mr. Moody retired from the credit union in 2003. Moody was not only a pioneer in the credit union industry but also an educator. He was the Assistant Dean of Men at Southern University in Baton Rouge and a four year commissioned officer in the United States Army. He retired from the Army Reserve as a Lt. Colonel.

Mr. Moody was employed by the Caddo Parish School Board for forty years as a teacher of mathematics at Central Colored High School and Booker T. Washington High School. He was the principal of Hollywood Elementary School and Bethune Junior-Senior High School. Prior to coming to Shreveport, he served as principal of Mulatto Bend Elementary School, West Baton Rouge Parish,  in the United States Army for four years as a commissioned officer, and as Assistant Dean of Men at Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He retired from the Army Reserve as a Lt. Colonel.
