Ed Presnell is currently the Regional Business Executive for Peach State Federal Credit Union.  He is responsible for Business Development and market presence in Augusta, Georgia and Aiken, South Carolina areas.  He has been an Executive with the Credit Union Movement for over a decade. 

Prior to his joining the credit union industry, Ed served as the President/CEO for the Augusta Chamber of Commerce, in addition to 15 years in the telecommunications industry in the Augusta area, highlighted by his position as RVP for KMC Telecom.  A native of Asheboro, NC, he graduated from Clemson University in 1971 with a B.A. in Economics.  

Ed has held 18 different Chairman/President roles in civic organizations in Augusta since beginning his business career. Most recently, Ed completed a term as President of the Rotary Club of Augusta.  Among his honors, he is most proud of being a 2003 Inaugural Laureate in the Junior Achievement CSRA Business Hall of Fame and being the recipient of the 17th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 2014 Unity Award from Alpha Phi Alpha, Augusta Chapter.

He is an AACUC Board of Director and is currently serving as the Board Treasurer and a member of the Executive Committee.  AACUC is an organization he reveres passionately in his heart.

Ed is married to Deb.  He has two daughters, and four grandchildren.  Ed is an avid golfer, and volunteers for the Master’s Tournament annually.
