


Sandra DeVoe Bland is Chairman of SRP Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors. She became the first female and African American chairman in March of 2018. She previously served as Vice Chairman. She has over 20 years of SRP board experience; serving on the Finance Committee and chairing the Facilities Committee and Facilities/IT Committees.
SRP, a community based financial institution, is one of the largest credit unions in South Carolina with assets of over a $1 billion. During Mrs. DeVoe Bland’s tenure as board chair, SRP FCU is growing organically. SRP had an awesome 2018 as evidenced by strong performance (2018 net worth ratio of over 11.5% and return on average assets of 2.0%), commitment to community, and member give-back.
Mrs. DeVoe Bland has over 30 years of leadership, management, financial, and technical experience. Sandra is a former member of Richmond/Burke County Workforce Investment Board. She is employed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), the Management and Operations (M&O) Contractor for the Savannah River Site (SRS). As the SC Promise Zone Coordinator, she promoted economic growth and educational opportunities to improve the quality of life in six rural SC counties. As founder of S. J. DEVOE & Associates, Sandra consults and promotes personal financial literacy.
Sandra is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a master’s degree in Project Management from DeVry’s Keller Graduate School of Management. Sandra is married and has three adult daughters.
