Saundra Scales, President, and CEO joined First Legacy Federal Credit Union in 1981 and has increased membership from 1,780 in 1985 to over 6,400 in 2007. She has maintained at least a 19% capital position. First Legacy has maintained a five-star rating from Bauer Financial Services Rating Company for the past 16 consecutive quarters. In the summer of 2008, First Legacy was granted a community charter that now encompasses10 contiguous counties.
